Enrich Your Life;
Nourish Your Soul
Our residents have a huge variety of hobbies and pursuits. Once you get settled in, we will help you find people within our community who share your interests. You are welcome to become a casual participant or a regular at one of our many monthly events.
Just For Fun
We organize excursions and activities to the most beautiful and interesting sites. It is fun to see the sights and great that someone else has to figure out the logistics and the parking. We regularly go to Oregon Gardens, Covered Bridges, Portland Holiday Lights, Outings to local Restaurants, Concerts, and get visits from Caesar the “No Drama” Llama
For Your Hobbies
Enjoy the dedicated areas we have for hobbies and special interest:
- Wood workshop
- Residents’ Community Garden for Flowers and Vegetables
- Jigsaw Puzzle tables
- Billiards and Card Room
- Walking paths
For Your Mind
Our Residents have led fascinating lives and have a lot of wisdom to share. We sponsor many activities that keep our Residents connected to one another and cognitively engaged. Some examples of our regular activities are Writing Class, Book Club, Computer Club, our Puzzle Tables and Board Games.
For Your Body
Staying physically active is critical to good health at any age. We encourage a huge variety of physical activities including Chair Yoga, Walking Club, and our excellent Beanbag Baseball team.
For Your Spirit
Our Daily Catholic Mass and Weekly All-Faiths services take place in our building, so you don’t have to go outside on stormy days. Spiritual leaders come to us each day from the Mt. Angel Abby to lead our Services and Bible Study. Our Residents love these gatherings and have a flourishing spiritual community.
