Customizing Living Spaces:
Can residents personalize their living spaces with their own furnishings and decorations?
All of our apartments are unfurnished so that Residents can bring their own furniture and decorations so their apartment feels like a space they love to spend time in and feels like home.
Dining Experience and Dietary Requests:
What’s the dining experience like, and do you accommodate special dietary needs?
Experience a delightful dining journey with daily brunch and dinner served in our elegant restaurant-style dining room. Our diverse menu features daily specials, a rotating selection of soups, a vibrant salad bar, and an array of tempting desserts. While we’re pleased to offer gluten-free alternatives, please note that we’re currently unable to cater to other specific dietary requirements.
Transportation Services:
Are transportation services available for medical appointments and other errands?
Residents enjoy the convenience of transportation services offered four days a week, covering trips to nearby cities for shopping, medical appointments, and local errands. Our goal is to ensure residents have easy access to essential destinations.
Community Safety and Security:
How is the safety and security of residents within the community ensured?
We are so fortunate to be located in a small town surrounded by beautiful scenery. Still, we take precautions to keep our community secure. Our front desk is staffed 24/7. During the day our doors remain open for guests to visit. Every night we lock the doors and night security patrols the building throughout the evening hours.
On-Site Medical Services:
What medical services are available on-site, and how do residents access medical care?
We provide Assisted Living onsite, but that is not medical care. Assisted Living provides help with activities of daily living. For Medical care, Residents go to local physicians or Home Health Agencies come to the Towers to provide care to our Residents. Excellent medical care is close by; our community benefits from a reputable clinic operated by one of Oregon’s leading medical groups, ensuring quality medical care nearby.
Accommodation Options and Pricing:
Are there various pricing options based on accommodation size and type?
In Independent Living, we offer studios, 1-bedrooms and 2-bedroom apartments with a large array of floor plans and prices. In Assisted Living, we have small studios, large Studios and Cabanas.
How are pricing adjustments determined, and how frequently are they implemented?
Pricing adjustments are evaluated on an annual basis by our management team. These adjustments take into account the annual cost of living changes, including those affecting benefits like Social Security. Our commitment to transparency ensures that residents have clear insight into our pricing structure.
What specific services are included in the base monthly fee, and are there additional charges for extra services or care?
For residents in Independent Living, monthly rent includes all utilities (except internet and phone), weekly linen service, housekeeping, robust activities program, 10-acres of landscaped grounds, in-house worship services, library walking paths, exercise class and gym, as well as and 2 meals per day in our restaurant style dining room.
For residents in Assisted Living, monthly rent includes all of the above, Assisted Living Residents are served 3 meals per day in their own private dining room. In addition, all laundry and linen services are included. Care is at an extra charge each month based on personalized care plans customized to the needs of each resident.
For a modest extra charge, residents can get their hair done at our Beauty Salon/Barber Shop or purchase home goods as well as candy and cards at our Sundries Shop.
Financial Assistance and Insurance:
Do you accept long-term care insurance, and are there other financial assistance options?
We proudly accept both Long-Term Care insurance and Veterans Benefits for our Assisted Living services. Veterans Benefits can also be utilized to cover costs associated with our Independent Living Apartments, providing residents with additional financial support avenues.
On-Site Healthcare Professionals:
Could you provide details about on-site healthcare professionals, such as nurses, doctors, or therapists?
While we have a nurse on staff who supervises services in our Assisted Living, all clinical staff and therapists who treat our residents onsite are licensed through Home Health Agencies. This ensures that residents receive high-quality care within our community.
What kind of training and qualifications do the staff members have?
Our staff are trained through our in-house training program. In addition to our in-house training, our senior leadership team has ample experience working in Senior Living. Our Executive Director has over a decade of experience managing services for Seniors. Our Assisted Living Administrator has successfully executed every role in Assisted Living and has attained her RCF Administrators License. Our Nurse is licensed and has decades of direct care experience. Finally, our Resident Relations Director has decades of experience working with seniors and creating engaging activities programs.
Specialized Support Programs:
Do you offer specialized programs or support groups tailored to specific needs, like memory care or chronic illness management?
Currently, we don’t provide Memory Care or Support Groups for other chronic illness management. Our focus is on providing a comprehensive living experience that caters to the needs of all residents.
